10th International German Language Summer School

The School is jointly organised by the Department of Foreign Language and Communication and the TSCI Research Centre of our university, the Facuty of Letters of the "Spiru Haret"University Bucharest, the Mitteleuropäischer Germanistenverband and the Faculty of Letters and the Forschungs-und Dokumentationszentrum Deutsch in der Dobrudscha of the "Ovidius" University Constanța. It takes place in Bucharest, Constanța and Sinaia between 31 August and 7 September 2018. This event provides a great opportunity for students to expand and develop their skills in German with the help of native speaking teachers from the University of Vienna.

GeoPreVi 2016 Student Symposium

9 students of the Specialization Translation and Interpretation took part in the GeoPreVi 2016 Student Symposium on 20 May.

"Flipping the Space while Teaching" Workshop

Nowadays, as students are comfortable with navigating on the Internet they need another type of teaching and a more dynamic type of learning, while us, the teachers, we must adapt to this new type of student and to change our teaching methods.
The workshop, held on 24 June 2015, explored, together with the participants, the possibility of using the method of flipping the space while teaching the courses and seminars provided by DLSC.
