As we’ve already mentioned, speaking a foreign language doesn't make you a good translator. It is highly important to know well the respective culture as its characteristics are largely embedded in the linguistic system, even in scientific and technical texts as well as in any other type of non-literary discourse.
In addition to our Culture and Civilization courses, you can win scholarships within our ERASMUS+ European Community programme, to gain an insight into the culture of the language you will be studying. This will also help you acquire a higher level of proficiency in the respective foreign language. The only thing you have to do is to show perseverance, motivation, high and higher grades.
