Welcome! Your career starts here, in the first day of your bachelor studies: from now on, your course and seminar attendance, your interaction with your colleagues and teachers, your homework, the projects you are part of, the activities you get involved in, your individual tasks and your teamwork will build up those skills you’ll need in order to gain access to your professional life.

The itinerary that we suggest has been conceived in such a way as to uncover the knowledge and experience you accumulated prior to your coming here. Having this as a starting point and balancing the theoretical and practical aspects of your education, we will support and guide you to achieve the following objectives during your three years of study:

  • to significantly improve your chosen foreign language skills, that is, the four basic language skills: written and oral comprehension and written and oral communication;
  • to better understand and broaden your horizons on the cultures of the foreign languages you are studying as well as on any cultural space different from the one you have been brought up in;
  • to enhance your background knowledge as much as possible and learn how to competently use the means that will help you to further develop it after graduation too;
  • to become proficient in operating with indispensable computer tools that can make your professional life easier: Internet, text editing/ publishing, databases, and specialized software;
  • to acquire professional experience - even before graduation - similar to “in situ” experience through practicum, translation/interpreting portfolios and also through creating the Bachelor diploma paper.

Thus, when graduating, your progress in education will bring you numerous opportunity paths, which you will step on with confidence, as you have already learned to build your future.
